Calling all Volunteers

Hey Flist~
Mysticon is coming up and I've been asked to run the Masquerade. It is their first time holding the event and they needed help. I agreed but I'm looking for some of you lovelies that might be interested in coming down to Roanoke, VA the weekend after Katsucon and helping me out with it.

I have been talking to one of the people who runs the convention and they said if I brought in volunteers then they would comp the cost of the badge for those volunteers. So what say you all? Free con for helping make their first Masquerade a smooth one.

I figure if I bring in others that have experienced a masquerade before and can help me even out the tasks of running it then we can make it run as smoothly as a first year masquerade can run.

I can't really say much about hotel stays or anything like that since I believe I am staying with Aizawa and wherever she may put me XD! But definitely let me know if anyone is interested in helping out. I'd appreciate some more season Masq hands!

Even if you just come and hang out on Friday that would be cool :D And I am still working out whether registration and everything is held on Saturday as well. But if you can help out Saturday morning that would probably be great.

Actually, I work every night but Sundays. :: facepalm :: Prolly should have just said that.

I have to be at work at 4 most days, but 3:30 on Sat. So I'll be there in the mornings to help setup/do runthroughs or anything else you need, even if it's just someone to go get you food. :D

Awww. Well if by some chance you get to go let me know. The hotel would only cost you like $10-$20. And Roanoke is only 2 hours from my house so gas wouldn't be that bad.

That is just so tempting to me, I'll have to see if I can figure something out, but don't hold out for me or anything; it'll be lucky if I can even manage to get away for that. Sorry for the indecisiveness, things are just so crazy here right now. XD

What all do you need help with for the Masq?

Basically people to usher the masq participants from the green room to the stage, and help getting them lined up and ready for their judging. Stuff like that. I only have an hour to get everyone judged and lined up and ready to go so the more hands I have, the better off I'll be.
