Oh man..last minute remakes

tohma2004Well I was trying to be productive today since I have Ichibancon next weekend and Katsucon and Mysticon in a month. So I worked on Elizabeth's skirt and My secret costumes image for the screen printing machine. Castor is also mostly done except for the belts. I am so proud of the Frau coat..but this one is just meh..The collar is weird and it seems too bulky but I don't know how to fix either problem. Then I got to Tamaki...
Well..I got Tamaki's hoopskirt round again, worked it so that it would be easy to remove, remade my butt bow..then got to the bodice. I figured I would just leave it be since it is just a silly little skit and I'm not really going for anything..but then even I was ashamed of its appearance. It is very worn out and the stupid knit fabric was starting to run. So..I have the pieces drawn out and fray checked and ready to get cut out.. I've decided to remake it. The sleeves are probably the only thing I am going to save. I have to resew all the gold trim on it once it is together and maybe I can reuse the old one as a lining..but yeah..bad shape. I just hope I can get it done in time. Plus I still need to make my prop for the skit. I did however mix my audio and put it on the flash drive. Progress right?
I have a short work day tomorrow because of New Years so maybe I can get the main pieces sewn together. I work 7 days in a row and then I am off for the Friday-Sunday of Ichibancon. Then i have a really long work week because it is Inventory on Tuesday and I will be at work late and have to be at work really early on Wednesday. It's going to be a busy couple weeks.
