what a start

So I'm in DC and just about to crawl into bed for a 7 AM wake up call to catch the metro to the sakura festival. It's been en eventful trip..and not exactly in a good way.

But in the short version here are some bullets:

-woke up at 8:30, got oil changed, went to the bank, picked up fabric in VA then headed to Richmond

-got delay after delay, got lost once, got behind schedule by 2 hours

-entering Jensen's driveway, cracked the front of my car's bumper. About a three foot long crack and the bottom is all scraped up.

-TomTom sent us on maddening and slightly terrifying trip through DC on the way to Jensen's friends house. Got stuck waiting for a train for 15 minutes. Planned arrival: 6PM..actual arrival: 9PM

-Got to Laura's but the road I had to turn left on was closed and got trapped in a Target parking lot until I could finally get turned around and make it to her apartment..only to be unable to find a parking spot (which is apparently normal) so just left my car parked illegally for 3 hours before moving it to a place behind the apartments.

Now I'm going to bed and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Oh..and did I mention..I think I'm getting sick? Yeahhh...
