tohma2004A short work week and then I'm off to DC. I hope there are still flowers by the time I get up there DX Last time I went it was raining and kind of cold and the flowers were falling off and yeah..we want sunshine and flowers this time!
Deathgod: Is there any particular time you want me there on Friday? I'm going to need directions to your place. I might go and check out the festival on Friday and then drive to your place..don't really know. Kind of winging it. Do I have to pick Angie up in Richmond? Let me know!
I've been trying to figure out what costumes I don't have nice pictures of so that I could get pictures of those. I might take the kimono up and maybe Sunday put it on for an hour and try to get some shots of it before driving back home. It is one I have really failed to get pictures of sadly. I got the hoop skirt out today for Sakura..Should be interesting to attempt the metro, and weave in and out of people at the festival in that hoop skirt. It's going to be way too warm for Yoite..maybe Tokyo Syaoran?..Soul..I have almost no pictures of Soul. Maybe even some Weiss Kruez fun times though I have epic pictures of that already. I think pretty much any verison of Fai would be way too hot unless it was Nihon but I really need to fix up that kimono.
I haven't worn Hakkai in awhile..I don't think parts of Byakko fit anymore..Tasuki is a possibility as is Kantarou..GAH SO MANY CHOICES.

Date: 2010-04-07 05:19 am (UTC)I am house-sitting until 5:30 on Friday so any time after that is fine. I don't know when anyone else is getting here but you don't have to worry about Angie.
Remember when you're planning what you want to wear that it takes over an hour to get downtown on the metro and it's going to be wall to wall packed. Last year 160,000 people went to the Sakura Matsuri, that's only on Saturday. Also it's going to be about 55 on Friday and 60 on Saturday so it will be on the chilly side.

You who suggested Sakura DX Crazy. But I guess if there are no flowers it might not matter if I wear her or not now :/ Mer..decisions.
