Okay, so I'm going to kind of try and remember everything I did this week. You can read if you would like ^^

Epic vacation was brought to you by the awesome Hope. I am forever in her debt and someday I will be able to repay her ^^

So the vacation started out on Saturday. This was a pretty quiet day to begin with. I started off at about 10AM. It was a five hour drive. The drive was pretty boring except I say my first wildfire (Note the irony...) I had never seen one before and this really wasn't much of a fire. Just a little probably two foot round thing on the side of the road. Then a few miles down the road was another little one with a poice man standing next to it. I was like wow..cool..my first wildfire. (heh..yeah..)

I arrived at the cottage (having only had to turn around once because I missed the very last turn). I drove in, waved at Hope through the window and got ready to haul my stuff upstairs. Once upstairs I noticed how incredibly cool the house was. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room. After claiming my room (which was the darkest and I affectionately dubbed it 'the cave' because it reminded me of my room here and the darkness is why I claimed it) I settled in to just relax in front of the TV with Hope. We channel surfed for a little while before landing on "Redneck Wedding." Dear god. The hilarity. Can we say priest doing a strip tease and doing the ceremony with a beer in his hand and wearing only boxers? Yeah..yeah..

We decided to check out the towers. As we were investigating the pools and the entertainment room, Kakyou called to say she was lost. Hope skillfully guided her in the right direction and we headed over to the cottage to meet her.

Once Kakyou was settled in we headed out to dinner at the House of Blues. I had the yummiest chicken fingers ever. They burned the taste buds right off my tongue, but they were great. We then headed to the mall where I made my first purchase of the week. A Rorschach t-shirt. I know...totally unrelated to MB...but it is so cool x_x We also watched the Dragonball movie...okay...Goku was adorable. That is all I really have to say about that.

By the time the movie let out the mall was closed so we had to make a daring walk back to the car which was on the other side of the mall. It was slightly terrifying but we made it! Then we went to Kroger to buy some groceries and headed home to call it a night.

Sunday was Aquarium day! First we ate at Planet Hollywood which was pretty cool. They had a Ninja turtle! Leo from the third movie. They also had power rangers. And it is located to Club Kryptonite. We then drove to the Aquarium and decided to buy passes for 2 Ripley's events. Once inside the aquarium there was this awesome moving walkway that took you around the whole thing. The fish and sharks and things could go right over you and travel along with you. I was snapping pictures like crazy. There was this one shark that seemed to stalk us as we were going around. At the end of the walkway was this tank of crab type fish things. I touched one but then he started to wiggle his little tail thing and I decide that was enough of angering the potentially dangerous sea creture. Then up the stairs there is the stingray pong which apparently will let you pet the stingrays...I didn't really want any part of that. In the baby section there were these TINY seahorses. They were like an inch big. So cute U__U There was a baby chick that had apparently just hatched too. AND CROCODILES or alligators or something. There was also this funny slide thing that was shaped like a big fish that the kids went down and every time someone used it this hanging ball thing would go up and down and light up. Okay not a very good description but I took a picture and you will understand when you see it. I bought my "army of angst" at the gift shop. Basically the gift shop was filled with these adorable stuffed turtles and stingrays and things that just had these miserable experions of sadness on them...I decided in order to make them look happier I was going to buy them all.

After the aquarium we walked around Broadway on the Beach. There was this MagiQuest thing and we decided to do it. It is a lot more fun then anticipated o_o You get this wand and you can pick your choice of toppers and you go around waving it at things and completing quests. We probably finished about 12 quests before our time ran out. We tried to help each other out since it was confusing to begin with. Once we understood it then it made a whole lot more sence. Then we went out and did duels with our wands. I didn't quite understand that part but it was magi against magi and you had to pick spells to defeat the other person. It really was a lot of fun. Then we ran around Broadway because there was an outdoor quest. We followed the clues and waved the wand at all the funny statues and they would talk and make fun of us and do all kinds of things. Hope waited for us at Build A Bear while we went around making fools of our selves XD At one of the statues a cop stopped behind us to listen to what the statue was saying as we frantically waved our wands at it. My wand was acting a little funny and I even had to make a little "wand dance" to get it to work sometimes.

Then we met back up with Hope and I decided to Build a Dinosaur. I named him Rorschach..aka Rory...get it? ROAR-Y? XD Yeah I'm a dork. But Rory has a little biker's outfit and we all decided he needed an inkblot mask. Maybe I'll make him one. Hope showed me the tiny little buttless chaps for the biker outfit XD They were perfect for him since he has this big tail. I didn't think the outfit was going to fit but it actually suited him pretty well. When I was in there I was in line with people that were from Rochester. I just about died from shock. The lady in front of me starting talking to the lady behind me about how empty the beach seamed in comparison to other years. Then she asked the other lady if she was from Rochester. The other lady said yes and they discussed what they did and the first lady mentioned Batavia. By then I had to sit down because I hardly expected to meet people from New York (particularly my area of NY) in Build a bear. I mentioned that I was from Elba and the lady got excited and said she knew people in Elba. So we talked until the line finally started to move.

After that we wandered around Broadway for a bit. We stopped and played at an arcade which had skee-ball (which I sucked at) and several other games. There was a batman doll that I decided I wanted but sadly did not have enough tickets for (yet...) but we were coming back again so I decided to save my tickets. We also played the water gun game and it was me against Kakyou! I won both times XD I got a soft little panda. (do you see my weakness of stuffed animals kicking in yet?)

After that we went to Jimmy buffet's Margaretaville for dinner. It was incredibly loud in there because there was a band playing. They were really good though and sang good songs. We were pretty close to them which made talking and doing much of anything difficult. They screwed up HOpe's order like three times. It was crazy. It would loud though so it was hard to fault the guy...but still, 3 times? They finally got it right though and gave us a free dessert as an appology. I don't really like strawberries but the ice cream was good. When we were done eating we headed home for some party time!

Hope brought lots of leftover mixed drinks stuff. We experimented a bit and there was some good..and some not so good XD We watched a british mob like movie that Kakyou bought. It was called Rock N' roller or someting like that. Then when the movie was done it was time for bed.

And then it was Monday. Okay..so this day started out a little rocky. See on Sunday as we were wandering around Broadway we had been planning on going to Medieval times and we went in this thing that I assumed as an information desk to see how much the tickets were. Well this lady behind the desk told us that they had a deal going on where it would be $20 total for two tickets. We were like WAAAAH? Sign us up! So she started filling out this form and got to a question that said, "Do you make $50,000 a year." I was like..well shit no. And between Kakyou and I we still didn't. And so the lady was like, well would the three of you have enough? And with Hope we did. So she was like okay, then thats good enough. Then she told us we would have to go to a meeting in the morning and sit through the little hotel talk thing and we would get our tickets. Only one person had to be present. We were like okay..we can do that. So we paid the $20 and went off on our merry way thinking we were getting to see MT for super cheap.

Yeah..see where this is going? Well that morning I headed off on my own since Kakyou wasn't feeling well and Hope had to leave that morning. I managed to find the hotel without any issues and went in to get settled for this meeting. The conversation went a little like this:

Lady: *looking over my form* So you are married?
Me: Uh..no..
Lady: Divorced? Seperated?
Me: No...
Lady: Okay..they must have just filled out the form wrong. I need to see your ID and a credit card.
Me: Okay. *starts getting it out*
Lady: You make over $50,000 correct?
Me: *pauses* No...the lady told us that our combined income could be that.
Lady: *Pauses* Uh...thats not right. If you were married then that would be true. And both you and your partner would have to be here.
Me: Well thats not what she said. She said only one person had to come as well.
Lady: Well I'm sorry I'll have to talk to her about that. Let me refund your money.

Yeah..thanks..getting my hopes up and smashing them down. I walked out of there a little irritated. Then I called Kakyou to let her know what happened and she told me Hope had just left and I was like, NOOO! I didn't get to say goodbye. So my mood only continued to dampen.

When I got back to the cottage Kakyou still wasn't feeling well so we went to Kroger to see about getting her some medicine. When we got back to the cottage Kakyou went to take a nap and I sat out on the balcony reading one of my mangas. Once I was finished I decided to go and check out the beach for a few minutes. So I went down took some pictures, checked my email and headed back to the cottage. When I got back Kakyou was up and feeling better so we decided to try a little putt-putt golf.

The one we chose had a train that carried us up to the top of the course. There was a cave and dinosaur bones and waterfalls and all kinds of crazy things. The putt-putt courses around this place were incredibly epic and insane! We finished our round and I got a hole in one on the last hole! That won me a free game and so we played again. We actually did the 2nd course that the place had this time. Kakyou got a hole in one this time but didn't win a free game since it wasn't on the special hole. We got a discount card for a bar and grill and decided to go there for dinner. The appetizers weren't too good but the chicken I had was excellent.

After that we went home and checked out the beach once again. We headed up to the pools and went in a hot tub, the lazy river, and the indoor pool. The lazy river was a lot of fun. You sit in this inner tube and it takes you around the pool. The water was really warm so it was nice. Then we got into the hot tub which felt really good because the wind was so cold. After that we finished at the warm indoor pool. It was nice because we were the only ones in it and then a big family showed up so we decided to get out and head back.

Once we were back at the cottage and dressed we settled in to watch the first two discs of Princess Tutu. After we finished those we headed to bed.

And thats all for part 1! Part 2 tomorrow probably with pictures.

I'm glad you had fun bb!

And don't worry about Twitter. It's completely pointless.
