Like Death

I felt like I was being sawed in half today. I've had this pain before but never has it lasted as long as it did today. For at least an hour I curled up in the corner of the couch and just clutched at my stomach as I clenched my teeth against the pain tearing through my mid-section.

It happens after I have been sitting for awhile. I'll go to stand up and my stomach just..hurts. It makes me unable to stand upright and so I walk around in a hunched over position until I am to a point where I can sit down again. But it usually only lasts for a few minutes. Its like my insides got rearranged because of how I sat and until I walk around and get things sorted back out I am in pain. That was always how I tried to explain away the pain. It was the pain of being lazy for too long.

But today...today it was different. Okay so I had been taking a nap in the chair and was in the chair for about two hours when I went to get up. As soon as I stood up it was like death. I waddled around and with no sign of it getting any better I eevntually collapsed onto the cough and curled up, whimpering in pain.

My parents wanted to take me to the emergency room but I just waved them off. It is a pain I knew...just never knew to be as violent or as long lasting as it was today. My mom told me to jump up and down and if the pain got worse it was my appendix. I looked at her like she was nuts and went back to laying down. Apparently they thought my appendix had burst or something like that. usually my parents don't suggest going to the doctor, much less the hospitol so I must have looked pretty bad. My mom asked if it was the cysts..and it could have been but it seemed far more painful then even they are normally. My father asked if it was cramps and it sure as hell had cramps beat 100x over. I couldn't even pinpoint the pain...it was just my entire midsection being ripped from my body.

SO yeah..pain seems to be my daily post now. It sucks that I have one more day of rest and then its back to working the long days that make my back hurt. Should be a fun weekend since I haven't completely recovered from the last one. The week goes too quickly...

In a far more upbeat note...I've been trying to figure out whether I should do Cosplay Chess at Animazement. I don't think I really should. I do have to work this convention since we have the artist alley table (OH YEAH, Hiro, we have the table if you have anything new you want to put at it). And I will have to stay at the table at least most of the convention. And with chess being on Saturday...and the masq being on Saturday...the table will be rough that day.

not to mention I would probably have to stay in Cain for chess if I did it. that would mean being in Cain from about 8 AM to 1 PM. x_x we all know how hard that is for me...even with the baby wings which I would have to wear so that I don't take up as much space on the cosplay chess board.

I don't think I'm going to do it. I have the Masq meeting at 9AM...the artist table...the trinity blood shoot at like..10:30AM...and then I still have the new Fai from the splash page to wear that day before I change into our skit outfit. So yeah...no chess I guess. Would have been better for me if it was on Friday I think. I don't know. I may change my mind depending on what everyone else says. As long as I can sit down at some point between the Trinity Blood shoot and Chess at noon...I might be okay in Cain. I also don't know when everyone wants to wear ch175 outfits or for how long.

thats it...We need to determine cosplay schedules >_<
Tentatively:
Friday: Kougaiji - Fai jumpsuit?? - Yuui - Ritsuka??
Saturday: Cain - Fai splash page - Sasuke
Sunday: Fai jade

Everyone agreeable to that schedule? Obviously you all have costumes that I'm not involved with as well so I want to make sure I don't have ones we match with clash with ones we dont. So let me know!

Okay thats it..I'm going to bed early tonight..

I'm wearing 175 all day, since it will probably be the only costume I have...unless I decide to whip up a Nihon country one real fast (which, knowing me, I may since vol. 22 won't be done in time).

If I whip up Nihon country, that will be until lunch so 175 can be in the afternoon.

I'll have to ask Jen when (and if) we'll be doing Eternal Sonata... but so far I've only got Asta, Hinata, and Chopin to do, so my schedule is pretty simple:

Friday: Eternal Sonata??
Saturday: Asta - Hinata
Sunday: ???

Also, are we all showing up/getting into room on Friday?

I have the hotel reserved for Thurs thru Sunday. There are 2 factors determining what time On Thursday I'll be heading down.

1. Tohma-con. If it happens and it happens that week then really I have all day and can leave at any time and we can go as a group.

2. Work. If Tohma-con doesn't occur due to some miraculous change in occupation (which I doubt) then I would be heading down after work on Thursday.

If Tohma-con doesn't occur because...well no one wants to come down XD then I'll go after work at the restaurant which means I would leave sometime after 2PM on Thursday to head down.

I'm all for Tohma-con, personally. Like I said, the con is the weekend after graduation, so I'll have a week where I'm floating with nowhere to go and nothing to do. (Unless I can convince res life to let me stay on campus until after grad school is over...) So, either coming directly to your house or maybe staying with my friends here who will be working is best for that week.

If no one else can come, then I don't know if it's worth it. But I figure we'd all show up the night before the con, or something?

Well, this is clearly evidence that I need to wander back through old posts more often.

As I'm not going to be looking for work other than what I'm doing now until after Animazement, I can and would be willing to do Tohma-con. Which reminds me, Suzu, to ask if you might want to carpool down either way?
