todays a holiday?

So I hear that yesterday was Easter. Hm. Just seemed like another Sunday to me. Got up..went work. Stayed there for 12 hours. Came home. WEnt to bed. Yep.

No candy. No eggs. No family dinner. Its okay. I think the family members that got to stay home didn't do any of that anyways.

but anyway, today was interesting. Well more like an intersting mail day.

I got my new passport...okay let me rephrase. I opened up an envelope and proceeded to panic since all it held was my old passport with the word Canceled on it. I was like WHAT? Whats that mean?

Then I opened the next envelope..with my brand spanking new passport and promptly stopped freaking out. Its all shiney and special with pretty pictures all through it. And can we say: DAMN THAT WAS FAST. My old passport was canceled on the 20th...the new one arrived on the 24th. Uh..4 days? What happened to taking four WEEKS!?! Not that I'm complaining...just gives me more time to lose the thing. Just kidding. It is safely locked away in a place both my father and I know about. But yeah..talk about fast work.

Then i opened the third interesting piece of mail. I have an appointment..to take a test...for employment with the postal system. I applied like..a month ago to work for the post office and only now are they telling me to prepare to take a test to see if I am worthy of such employement. I guess I should be glad I got past the first step but DAMN talk about slow. So on April 8 at 12PM I will be taking an exam for employment with the state postal system. It would be a good job. The book shows lots of benefits. The problem is...who knows which post office they would stick me. I could end up back in W-S or worse. But I have to pass this test first..and then pass an interview..a blood test..a drug test..a sanity test...a phsyical..a buttload of other things..and THEN I get put on a LIST to be hired at their convenience. o_o Sheesh. I guess i can't let the opportunity go past though.

Did I mention the test takes 3 1/2 hours? Yeah..its like the SATs all over again. Even down to the two #2 pencils. Not to mention I have to drive an hour to get there. Sheesh.

Oh and I was late to work today cause I feel asleep in the chair after my shower. Guess I was more worn out from work yesterday then I thought...luckily my boss wasn't mad. She knows I work a lot at CB on the weekends.

No I didn't ride..but it was COOOOOLD. tomorrow..I swear >_>

Let me just say I scoff I 3.5 hour tests. When you've taken the GREs (almost 4 hour tests) 5 times and the MCATs (medical school exams, 8 hours) twice, 3.5 is nothing. But not everyone is as insane and indecisive as I am.

My mom took that test; she used to work 3rd shift for the post office in Raleigh when I was little. You'll do fine. :)

hi tohma! :3 I just wanted to tell you that I been trying to send you the DVD with the AMVs as I promise but I been having some problems with my PC. Now that my PC is ok I'll burn a dvd and send them to you.Sorry for taking so long. (I also need to start a new AMV for Fanime)
