oh god...why am I so weak against peer pressure?

I have a date Wednesday...another CB server got this crazy notion that I should go out with one of the cooks...and so she set it up. And she was so excited about it I hated to say..um, no thanks? I have no interest in the guy...*sigh* So..I'm going.

I'll be terribly nervous the entire time but I will go...We're going to a Dave Mathews Band concert. I know..some of their songs. But concert could be good...won't have to talk much...

Really though, I have no interest in the guy. I'm sure we don't have anything in common and again..I have no idea how old he is. And the idea of dating someone I work with..that may result in an uncomfortable situation in the workplace is rather undesireable to me. Not to mention she totally told him that I was the one instigating this..which is not the case..SHE is the one who wants us to date...I am merely the unfortunete second party. So now he thinks I am interested...which I wasn't...at all..

He is a nice guy, but I don't know...Ug..I guess we'll see what happens.

The bad part (one of many) is that I had to get off of work on Wednesday for it. Now I only have 1 day of work at CB left this week. I do still work at the Italian place..but still..this was con money I was working for as well as bill money. *sigh*

Must.think.positively. I have to talk with him Tuesday to figure out the details.

She's paid for her second of entertainment and (self) feelings of good will in the currency of your comfort and desired money. Why can't people understand that their good intentions do more harm than good sometimes. She's given this guy a false image of you...good luck, enjoy the music and may nothing come from all this that you don't want.
