Football for Me
Apr. 3rd, 2008 12:24 amokay..so i have a bit of an obsession issue at the moment. It revolves around Eyeshield 21 and I'm afraid it is leading me down a very dangerous road XD
I've been trying to catch up on Anime for one and Eyeshield was the chosen anime, but that wasn't the cause of the obsession. The obsession started when some people in the RP i am in decided to bring in Eyeshield 21 characters. At first I was like okay..cool..and then more characters and I got this little itch about wanting to join them. I mean..Hiruma, Shin, Sakuraba, Touganou...all having football rping fun.
And then I fell. I joined the ranks of characters from the football show that I do adore so. I wanted to be Sena but he was reserved..so who was my back up you ask? Heh...Monta. Yes..the monkeyboy receiver. Kind of a stretch for me as I have absolutely nothing in common (at least I hope not) with the rather crazy and peculiar character. But I have found that being a little crazy and being able to end my sentences with MAX! is rather amusing.
But that isn't the end of it...now I have somehow managed to find myself agreeing to be part of an Eyeshield 21 cosplay group. Ah yes...football jersey fun. BUT..i get to be Sena which will be awesome win. That is if I can make the jersey and get the wig right. I have wanted to cosplay Sena since I first started watching the show about 2 years ago...now it seems I'll be doing it. The Snag? It would be for Yaoi-con...this year. heh...okay yeah so I really want to go and hang with my teammates even if I have to go alone..which is rather scary. And then if I have a real job then...and the con the weekend before...Could be interesting to see how this all plays out. Perhaps I should just stop agreeing to such things XD But I REALLY want to cosplay it >_>
