Does that make me old?
Apr. 2nd, 2008 12:29 amIs it bad that the highlight of ones day is sitting down and playing cards for 4 hours straight? Okay..so its with my father and when we get together for any length of time it usually involves me laughing harder then I have the rest of the week combined..but still. Two nights in a row I have sat down and played cards with my father for several hours and not even questioned that there might be other things I could be doing (like the 1234123512 cosplay projects I now have).
Seriously though..few rounds into "Golf" and thats it. Competitive Spirits, odd sense of humors..its just one big humor fest that lasts for hours adn bragging rights to the winner for days.
It was a big father/daughter day today cause we also went for a Trail ride today. We won't go into how eventful it was just to CATCH the horses let alone the ride itself. Lets just say..me walking entire pasture, Thunder getting loose, giant holes, prickers, and one happy Dudley dog.
I did survive April Fools day. I didn't do the wig thing. I actually didn't pull any tricks or get tricked. Which is good. The only real APril Fools thing was the TV and the fact that I had to keep explaining why they were doing stupid things to my parents. For example...American Idol did this little thing at the beginning saying they were being preempted for something else and my mother was totally fooled until I said, "It's APril Fools Day. No one is going to fall for that stupid...except you totally just did." She tried to make excuses..but no..she totally fell for it -_-'' And then there was this thing during Dancing with the Stars that had even my dad fooled. I Had to tell them that it was April Fools Day and these stories were not real.
Am I the only one in this family that truely understands the poorly constructed tricks of this stupid day?
But thats it. I really should work on my many Animazement projects...I need to get my butt ready to fly to Japan in 25 days (OMFG). I have to do a lot but the days go far too quickly.
