Even the most carefully of laid plans can go up in smoke.

My plans include a trip to Hollins next Wed and Thurs. The smoke that might prove to change those plans...my boss might be in the hospitol for two weeks getting tests and things done. I don't really know what is wrong but he has been sick quite a bit this year and so it could be anything.

I'm still hopeful that I will get to go up there. I won't really know what is going on until I see him tomorrow. Hopefully nothing will come up that will prevent me from going to Katsucon. It will all depend on what he needs done and what kind of time frame we are talking about.

This also worries me a little because it might mean he will be forced to retire or something soon and that leaves the store basically in my hands. I'm not ready for that. I keep telling myself I can handle it and I know what I'm doing. But the thought of it has me shaking in my boots. I can do every job in that store better then anyone...but I don't know if I can do his if it was presented to me right now.

But I'm getting a head of myself I think. I'm sure he will be fine and I have a little longer to learn the ropes. Thats what an optimist would say.

Too bad I'm a pessimist...

*glomps and clings* I will kidnap you! They can't blame you if you were forced to leave the state against your will.

Is actually an optimist.

An optimist would say that even if that happened, you might have to call other stores and talk to the people doing that job for advice all the time. But honest to god, even if you bumbled it up for a couple days, it surely won't stop customers from coming and the store won't go under. and the pay'd probably be better. and yeah, it might suck at first, but you'll have to get the hang of it eventually.

But still. Hopefully nothing unwanted happens, and everything goes smoothly and well. Good luck and Gambatte kudasai!

You are Super Tohma and can handle anything.

^_~

But in all seriousness... no worries, Michele. Things will happen as they happen, and I bet you'll be surprised at yourself and what you're capable of given the opportunity. ::hugs::
