Utai's wedding. I fell: Part Deux

Okay so I need to get this down before I get distracted and forget what the hell happened that weekend.



So on Thursday we went to Whatever the hell that beach's name was Wilmington, for Utai's wedding.

Actually it starts on Wed. Corey, Jensen and Solveig showed up at my house and we all went to the mexican restaurant to eat and then walked to Sweepstakes for some fun gamblin' times. Which involved all of us losing money and a lot of time spent grumbling and yelling at Corey to hurry up and lose so we could go home. Then we came home and I started to pack..and then got distracted by tags..then went back to packing..only to get distracted by kousuke_no_baka..only to give up on packing and decide to do it in the morning.

Thursday
Woke up..early. Started Finished packing. Somehow got all our crap into Jensen's car and headed down the road. At least it wasn't as cramped as driving to Otakon or Katsucon..but still pretty damn cramped. The drive down was pretty unexciting and then we got to our hotel room. talk about nice. Full sized kitchen, Narnia in the closet, two beds and space we only wish we had at a convention. Once we got our stuff up to our room we headed out to Books-A-Million because Kiki needed to find yaoi manga. It took some hunting but we found it. We did a few more errands before going back to the hotel to drop off our stuff and then headed to the rehearsal for the wedding.

Let me just say. Kiki is a terrifying driver. Love ya..but you scare me. Nuff said.

We get to the rehearsal about 5:50 when we don't have to be there until 6:15 so we head down to the beach to check it out. A storm is rolling in and so we don't hang out for too long. But I did almost get eaten by the ocean.



So we headed back to the hotel and sat in the lobby waiting for Utai. And waited. And waited. Around 6:15 Corey gets a text saying they were still at her house but were on their way. A few minutes later another text about being stuck in traffic. Around this time the storm starts and so I go outside to take some pictures..and we get another text about them being stuck in the storm. They finally get there at like..6:40 and we run through this rehearsal which didn't take too long.

We all head back to our hotel to get changed into Reborn, cause we're cool like that. We climbed back into Kiki's car for another terrifying fun car trip and drive across the street to the Hiro Japanese Steak house or whatever it was called. Utai heard we were putting on costumes so she ran home to put on her tail, and Kiki gave her pretty pretty princess gear.



Did we mention Dino found his turtle?



We got seated at our table and ordered our food and drinks. i got..magical boy a blue samurai. And we watched our cook set the place on fire.



And Mukuro was a chick magnet.

Once we were nicely tipsy we got back into Kiki's car and went back to the hotel room. I actually don't remember much about the rest of the night..except that I fell asleep at Jensen's computer and woke up when everyone came back from the pool..

Friday
Woke up, had some lunch then started getting ready for the wedding. We weren't getting dressed until we were there so we just did our makeup and hair and stuff then headed to the hotel. Got there and snapped a couple pictures before being forced to put on the dress.



Got dressed. Had a wedding. Didn't trip! MWAHAHA





Didn't trip on the way out either. Victory is mine! Then it was time for wedding pictures. But first we had to wait for them to clear out the chairs. Which means we stand around and make idiots of ourselves.

So then it was reception time and dancing time and all that good stuff. Epic music was played. Ninja Rap, Ghostbusters, For your Entertainment..it was like someone took my Zune and just hit play.

Then it was time to say goodbye to the bride and groom and we went off to the hotel for the rest of the night. We did make an epic and terrifying drug store run though. It was terrifying. Almost died. I swear.

Then it was back to the hotel and we went to the pool. Then after the pool it was time to tag and be dorks and talk to kousuke_no_baka on the phone until like 4 in the morning cause we could. Also, meebo or whatever it is..is weird. and Animal noises.

Saturday
Went to the beach. In Angel Sanctuary. You saw those pics.

Got out of AS and into normal beachwear and went into the ocean. I fell. Or rather I was knocked down by the waves..like three of them in a row.

I almost died. Jensen tried to kill me. Or maybe it was the waves. And the fact that we were stuffing the pocket of my shorts with seashells and they were weighing me down. And the kitty paddle is ineffective.

And I was reminded..since Otakon quotes are forever embeded in us.

Me as I tried to get away from the waves: "For the love of Adam! Kitty paddle! Kitty paddle! Why isn't the kitty paddle working?! Kitty paddle is ineffective!"

Got naked in a parking garage then headed home. Got home and went to sweepstakes. Won $120 cause I'm cool like that. Then finally got back to my house and watched both Ghostbusters movies because Solveig had never seen them before and that is just a crime.

Then talked to Kousuke_no_baka on the phone. See a pattern developing? Also, I am a heavy typer and everything is Corey's fault.
