I had all these grand plans..I was going to get Alexiel's corset started and hopefully most of the way done..

And then I got called into work. I shouldn't have answered the phone..but I can't complain about more hours and more money. It was just a short shift..about 5 hours. But it was basically all the best time to work on the corset. And it gives me only one day off this week (the 4th) and now I have to work basically 7 days straight..which is going to be exhausting since I have some very long days in there.

As I was trying to get my AWA press badge today I found out that I actually registered for the con twice. So I should be getting a refund for that mistake. Hopefully I'll get the press badge and then actually get refunded for both badges. But I'm not sure I'd be able to do the cosplay contest with my press badge..so I asked them and I'm waiting to hear back. If I can't do the contest then I will probably just say the heck with the press badge. I'd rather just hang out then worry about being a good little newsperson.

Tentative Otakon plans
-Alexiel - Angel Sanctuary (all day Saturday/Masquerade)
-Tamaki - Ouran Host Club
-Fai (flame kimono) - Tsubasa
-Frau - 07-Ghost
-Kougaiji - Saiyuki (maybe)

I figure Alexiel is going to take up most of my time so I'm not really taking much :/ Maybe I can get a photoshoot of the kimono or Tamaki while I"m there..if I don't die of heat stroke first.

OOOH, which version of Alexiel are you doing? She's one of my dream costumes.

White dress, corset thing. I am so terrified about how this is turning out. I'm afraid I'm going to fail at it so hard DX The wings turned out pretty so I'm trying to stay optimistic.
