What a day..

Okay so yesterday started out good..was working on my wings and getting some progress down on that costume. And then all of a sudden as I was getting ready for bed the computer just started freaking out.

Apparently I picked up a virus..a really annoying one. It shut down all the programs and I couldn't open anything at all. the only thing it would do is open up Internet Explorer and take me directly to this website to buy a particular brand of antivirus software that I had never heard of. I was just like..you assholes..I'm not falling for that.

We tried to get rid of it today but obviously didn't have any luck. Now it was starting to throw up porn sites and all kinds of random shit and the alarms for the virus were still going off. (And of course Norton expired last week...)

Finally I just said the hell with it and reformatted the whole computer. Luckily I keep most of my files on my external drive so I only had to move a little bit and it just means I have to spend the time reinstalling all my programs and what not. It's annoying but at least the computer is (hopefully) virus free.

Also we got a pool. A small like..3 foot pool or something. But still..something to take away the heat. My father put it up today and it still is in the process of being filled with water. But at least it will help in cooling us down. I mean hell..its supposed to be like 95 all week. WTF.

Norton = waste of money. All it does is screws up your computer more than it does good. McAfee is much better and doesn't override your computer like that. Plus, it's way simpler in my opinion. -_-

....wtf. Can I have warm weather for once? I think it reached a whopping 61 degrees; and that was at like, 5pm. Summer for me is around the 60's, apparently. I think there's like one day out of the whole summer that's in the 90's. At least, if we're lucky.
