I bring you crack

tohma2004I promised crack and therefore you shall have crack.
Ladies and gentlemen..I present...
My name..is Batman..my mission this week..to relax.
Alred said I have been working too hard and its been affecting my performance (beating up bad guys, not in bed you perverts..). So I decided to go on vacation. Unfortunetly I didn't want to get mobbed by fangirls so I decided to keep my mask on for the trip. not good for working on your tan..but great for people leaving you alone.
I left the batmobile at home and instead drove my more modest vehicle. The batvan.
Great for carting around all my vacation necessities and saves me on having to pay for a hotel room. It has everything a superhero on vacation could need. A full bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. I may be a rich playboy by day...but I'm pretty stingy when it comes to vacations.
My first stop was a place called Broadway on the Beach. Full of shops and tourists.
I decided to stop at the Aquarium first. I figured it would be a nice relaxing place to begin my vacation. Unfortunetly I found that many patrons were being harassed by stingrays and so I had to step up and save the day. After I had defeated all the enemies...I was told that people were actually allowed to pet the stringrays and they were not in fact..harming anyone. My mistake.
After I was kicked out of the aquarium I decided to talk with some of the locals. I found these guys sitting outside a magic station. I am not really a believer of magic..but when toadstools start talking..it is hard to deny the possiblity that perhaps there are strong powers at work.
I found this sign that said something about MagiQuest and heroes and figured it was definetly worth my while to find out more about it.
The talking toadstools told me to head inside MagiQuest and find the Master Magi's chest for a great reward. I figured it might be an interesting adventure so I headed inside. I was met with many strange creatures, all of which carried wands that held great power and made many of the items inside talk. With the help of a wand I was able to locate the Master Magi's chest but was disappointed when all it held was plastic gems and some glowing lights.
Disappointed with my find I headed back down the boardwalk in search of some excitement. I found a random board with a hole in it along the way and looked though it..only to have someone snap this very embarrassing picture of me. I do hope it doesn't find its way back to Gotham City. The Joker would never let me hear the last of this.
I decided to head somewhere for something to eat, so I jumped on my Batcycle (which is also conveniently stored in the batvan)
It was a nice day for a ride around town. Eventually I found a place that looked suitable to eat at and ended up eating $70 worth of food. What can I say..I'm a growing hero.
Unfortunetly I had a little too much to drink while I was there and ended up being unable to stay on the Batbike. I eventually gave up and decided to walk back to the batvan...only I couldn't really remember where I parked it. Batvan is not equipped with the same autodriver ability that the batmobile is. Must remember to install that upon returning home...
Because I couldn't relocate the Batvan I decided to rent a boat and see some of the beach. I found a nice vessel at one of the docks
Unfortunetly I later found out that the ship I was on..was actually only part of a putt-putt golf course and couldn't actually go out to the ocean. I guess i was still a little drunk from dinner and didn't realize that the water that was around...was actually not connected to anything and the waterfall and volcano were actually..fake.
I eventually found the beach however thanks to the kind help of a man named Setsuna. Apparently his mobile transport device was hiden somewhere around there..but he also was unable to find it.
We walked the beach together discussing what it meant to be a hero and why we both needed nice long vacations from our jobs. The sunet at the beach was very nice.
I decided to do some of the more typcially beach activities like shell hunting and building sand castles while I was there. Unfortunety for me I didn't wear my waterproof batsuit so I was forced to stay as far away from the water as possible. I didn't have a change of clothes with me (they were still in the lost batvan) so I tried to stay where I was safe. Unfortunety the wind was so strong that I got sand in my utility belt and other places that I would rather not discuss.
As I wandered the beach I noticed that there wasn't any lifeguards and that small children were wandering into the ocean. I knew that I had to keep an eye on everyone since that is just what superheros do, even on vacation. So I jumped up on the lifeguard stand and stayed the day to make sure no one was accidentally swept out to the ocean.
After I was done working Setsuna decided to learn what it was like to be a real superhero so I showed him how to stand
he was so grateful that he wanted to show his appreciation...but I told him i wasn't really into guys and that just saying thank you would be more then enough. He was one strange guy...
We parted ways and I made it to a strange castle where knights and princes lived. They were riding around on horses and beating up on each other. I tried to stop this strange gang violence arena but unfortunetly they kicked me out of there too. This really hasn't been a very relaxing vacation.
Surprisingly enough when I was kicked out I found the batvan! I decided to head back to Gotham since I had finally found my mobile home. Overall it was an interesting trip, but I may never be able to get all the sand out of this suit again.
