First lets start with cats. This is what we found when we came upstairs one day. Can you count the number of animals in this chair?



And this was a cute cuddly moment between Yuui and Dudley


I'd say he fits right in with the rest of the family pets.

And now onto the car. Let me just start off by saying...I know I am broke and can't afford the car payment I will now have every month..but hear me out.

My car is worth (in excellent condition) $1500. Its problems right now include: broken gasket and corresponding repairs ($1000), 2 windows that don't work, No heat/air conditioning, broken dome light, poor bright lights, a water leaking problem that makes my front seat floor wet whenever it rains, paint and sealant pealing on the roof, and a few other issues.

So does it make sence to put over $1000 into a car that isn't worth that? Its been a good car. Its 10 years old, has 166,000 miles on it and I love it to death despite its problems...but lets face it. Even if I fix the overheating issue..something else could go wrong next month with that many miles. Quite frankly my mom didn't trust the car any more and really...neither did I. My father doesn't even trust it enough to take it to Winston anymore.

I wasn't even expecting to buy a car yesterday...but sometimes the unexpected happens. This car was a crazy deal in all our eyes. its a 2003 so it isn't brand spanking new but it only has 51000 miles on it so a fourth of the miles and is 4 years newer then mine.

Okay okay...here it is. Call me crazy if you want but I'll figure out some way to pay for it. My parents saw it as a good deal and I even shed tears because I wasn't sure what to do. Buy it and face a car payment for the next five years...don't buy it and spent the next year paying off a credit card full of car repairs. It was a hard decision but in the end I have no regrets.

My two babkies next to each other. Wow..I'm a 2 car owner. Well not for long. We will probably get the Breeze fixed and sell it.


ANd in other car news...a bird landed on my car's mirror the other day. I was just like...WTF?

Your new cat looks just like my cat Sylvie! And that new-to-you car you've got is really sexy *drools* Hope I can get something cool like that when I come home myself. I'd say the investment was worth it, all things considered. And I am coming home for Christmas, BTW. I'm meaning to make a post soon but you know how that goes :P What are you watching right now as far as anime anyway? Seen anything amazing lately? Inquiring minds want to know ^_-

Everytime I look at the window and see it sitting outside I'm like "it sure does look good out there" XD My poor breeze has been sent to behind the barn to live out its days until we know what to do with it.

I'll send your stuff to your house then ^^ Phew..so much easier then trying to figure out the Japan address XD

I haven't been watching much which is surprising since I have had so much at home time. Trying to catch up on D. Grayman basically with some Naruto thrown in here and there. Junjo Romantica is my shounen ai fix and Eyeshield 21 is my comedy fix.

I have a whole three stacks of CDs of new shows that I need to get into but am afraid of embarking on a new series when I am so behind on so many old ones ^^;;

However, all the money issues aside, the real problem with that car is: how in the world will you fit even half of your cosplay stuff in it for a trip? XD

I worried about that too when I was looking at the cars XD But I was always leaning towards a sports car as what I would get when the Breeze finally kicked the bucket...regardless of the cosplay obsession.

My father and I have come up with a perfect plan though. NO suitcases. Lay everything in the trunk and backseat and carry a garbage bag. When I get to the hotel, toss everything in the garbage bag to get it up to the room. XD Obviously props will have to be able to fold into tiny pieces and passangers will be nearly impossible to transport on con weekends XD No more car pooling for me, damn.

My first thought, after Oooh!! was, how is she going to fit her cosplay stuff in there? *grins* still, it really sounds like the right thing to do. Putting $1000 into your old car really would have been a waste of money.
