Still waiting

I can't really update you all on how I am doing because I still have no further information on my condition. Right now I am almost a full 2 weeks behind schedule because I couldn't do my last chemo treatment. The doctors still have no idea what it is but should have been spending the last few days trying to figure it out and will probably call me either tomorrow or Monday with my next course of action. Which is one of the following:
1-Infection - Treat with antibodies and continue with regular chemo
2-New Hodgkins popping up
a)Stick needle in back to biopsy it
OR
b)Cut open chest to biopsy it
(depends on location and whether they can get to it through the back or whether it is too close to the diaphram to do so)
Treatment would be a whole new set of drugs to fight it AND a bone marrow transplant because it means I have moved into the next level of cancer
3-Completely different cancer - Would still need biopsy and treatment would be new set of drugs
4-Drugs are eating lungs
a)Drop the one drug that hurts the longs and continue with other 3
b)Start a completely new set of drugs
So as you can see...a lot of different things it could be and equally as many different options on how to correct it. My money is still on the drugs are actually killing me instead of helping me. Go figure. But maybe I'll get lucky and it will just be a simple infection.
And as they try and figure it out, more and more people are trying to get their money for my past treatments and surgeries. I really get sick of saying "I have no insurance, I have applied for medicaid and waiting on them to respond, and I currently am not working."
Makes me feel useless and lazy because as you know I would work if I damn well could. And talking with medicaid and disability this week only continues to make me angry and depressed.
And then there is the bills i have to pay and the fact that my checking account now reads: $200. and with over $700 in bills each month..that is a scary scary thing.
So don't be surprised if I start selling off some of my stuff through here.
And to get my mind off of all this I am working on another super secret project that will be uber awesome if I take my time and just stay focused and not try to rush anything. Anyone have any tips on making a hoop skirt? Yeah..its that awesome XD
Still to do for AUSA (If I get to go..but that is a whole nother entry to be written when I know what the doctors say)
-Style Secret wig (I don't want to cut up this lovely long black wig I have but I have no choice ;_; I can't find anything around here that even remotely works for it)
-Find or make a grey tie for...Chuck cosplay..WUT? Oh yeah and make a "Buy More" employee badge. That is if final_memories still needs a geeky sidekick
-Buy shoes to work for both Secret cosplay and Chuck cosplay...how wierd is that?
-finish Marluxia scythe..and maybe find a pink wig to cosplay Marluxia o_o yeah..long story
And thats really it since I have no idea what I am really going to be wearing at AUSA.
And this entry is long enough...Might go to a horse show Saturday. We'll see.

Date: 2008-10-03 12:23 pm (UTC)And I'm guessing Marluxia is because of that person who commissioned you to make the scythe... did they fall through on that?
And you have a bit of your own business running with the cosplay stuff. You could try expanding your business a little. Maybe ship things out instead of delivering at cons?
I wish you the best of luck!! <3

You could always make costumes and sell them via the internetz. That way you still do what you love, and make a little money on the side.
