A Good Day

Went to my third chemotheraphy treatment today. And what did I learn? That i'm doing well. all tests are good. And after discussions with my dad I'm about 90% POSITIVE that I'm GOING to OTAKON. *cough* But I'd rather not jinx it just yet. Need to have good bloodwork next Wednesday but today the doctor said that I am healthy enough to do whatever I want. Go to the mall, movies, out to eat, etc. WHOOHOO

And I didn't even feel the needle go in today. I apparently got the numbing cream on early enough and in the right spot because she stuck that needle in and I didn't even notice. So WHOOHOO X2!

I baked cookies today for the first time. Chocolete chip. They actually turned out really well and I cooked them from scratch *gasp*

As far as Otakon i will have to still be careful. I have to stay away from anyone that I know is sick. I have to stay out of overlly crowded areas (So no rushing to the dealer's room as soon as it opens and CERTAINLY avoiding the food court at the mall.). And wearing a mask in certain areas (such as the dealers room). And not spending too much time in the sun or wearing costumes that are overally exhausting. etc. etc. etc.

So...costume schedules? TELL ME THEM NOW ^_^ You know...just in case...

We probably aren't wearing anything on Thursday unless you have a request. KH2 friday, various Tsubasa Saturday and Infinity on Sunday. We are space limited and trying to take it easy too. Any suggestions?

Chances are I won't be cosplaying on Sunday but instead we will just be driving home that morning...well technically my dad wants to leave Saturday night but I'm hoping I can convince him otherwise and to just wait until Sunday morning.

I've been trying to figure out exactly what to bring with me. Syaoran is done so that will be coming. I don't know if I can survive my white coat of doom but I'm working on a different Fai coat that might be a little easier to handle. Am I doing Axel with you guys? I was thinking I could maybe bring something I haven't worn in awhile but I'm not sure what...and then Nihon Fai right?

Tohma! I'm not going to Otakon, I just wanted to say that you were in this dream I had earlier. You and Sssargon and I were sitting in your house (at least, it was your house in my dream, it actually looked a lot like my old apartment) and you were trying to reach other peeps on the phone, but no one was available. It was also storming, and we were watching a movie and trying to cheer you up since you couldn't reach anyone you knew better than us.

Kat and I are probably going to be wearing Harry Potter costumes for at least one day. I'm not sure what else I might bring. I think I'm going to end up scrounging through my collection when I'm at home this week. Probably not going to do much actual *anime* cosplaying. ^^;
