Countdown to Japan: 41 Days

Thats right. Passport is mailed out to be renued and tickets have been purchased. Will passport arrive in time? We sure as hell hope so...Did I mention tickets are purchased?

Hell yeah.

Tickets cost a little over $1000 which is what I was expecting to put into them. Now to get the other $1000 made into Yen and I'll be all set! Anyone know how long that takes? >_> I should probably take it to the bank soon adn get it done just in case...


But I have committed myself to the trip now..no turning back. Japan here I come!

YAAAAAAAY! It'll be good to see ya again after so long, and for once you're coming to visit me! Awesome! I'll have to get the guest room looking halfway decent. Is there anywhere in particular you wanna go? So have you researched how long it'll take to get your passport? I was looking around online and it appeared that the best way to do it was to go in person to some federal building and have it done. I've heard it also helps if they know you have a trip coming up.

If the bank is large, it takes only a day. My bank is pretty small, so they have to get foreign currency from a bigger bank, and that takes about three days. I'd give yourself a week, just to be sure. You can always change dollars to yen at the currency counter at the airport, but with jetlag, that's way too much trouble.

Have fun! I was there last year in June and had a blast...though after two weeks I was about dead from exhaustion. :)

Well the passport is in the mail enroute to wherever it needed to go to get renewed. Unfortunetly for me those passport places are about 6 hours away so I couldn't really afford to make a day trip out of that. It should only take 4 weeks...hopefully it will only take 4 weeks. But I can check the status of it online and if it starts to get on the long side I can call them up and be like..HEY I NEED THIS NOW. The website even says I can do that XD

Obviously I can't really speak or read the language so I will basically go wherever you take me XD Unless is a spa >_> NO naked time..I still refuse that -_-
