Holy crap..where is it all gonna go
May. 25th, 2010 01:07 amI have..so much stuff. Between artist alley and huge ass dresses..I'm gonna have a lot of shit. Thank god we are taking a van and potentially another car.
I've been making shirts..and I want to keep them. I don't want to sell them XD They are kinda neat. Learning all kinds of different things as I experiement with them. hopefully AA won't outlaw the tsubasa ones because of the logo. Have lots of costume stuff to sell too. Last year they let us sell costumes and wigs, hoping that doesn't change this year.
More work drama. I started full time today..but technically I won't get full time hours this week since I'm going away. But when I showed up the boss was like.."I need to talk to you about your requests." I was like..oh shit. I gave him the whole list of dates for horse shows and conventions over a month ago. And all of a sudden it is an issue?
He was like..you can't have all these weekends off. Fine, I'll work the two Saturdays I requested for Horse Shows. But I'm still going away for AMA. He gave me this look like..do you really want full time?
Dude..there are 5 other people in my department. If I work Sun-Thurs..then I can still get 30 hours. Fine..I'll work Thurs morning too and come back so I can work on Sunday if you want..but I"m going away for at least ONE Saturday a month. I don't think it will kill you to let me have that.
Wait until September when I go away two weekends in the month. Guess what dude..gonna use my vacation time. Try and stop me then. I mean really. There is another full time person in my department and 4 other parttime people. I work every day during the week..certainly they can handle the weekends. Geez..screw this..I'll go back to working two jobs and getting all the time off I want.
I know I should be thankful for full time and not complain and do everything he wants but..really? I can't have one weekend a month? Never was an issue when I was working two jobs.
And I don't even have any requests in for July or August except for Otakon. June is just a big horse show month because it is the month before it gets really hot. But now I'm not even going to those so I can make him happy.
Doesn't matter I guess. I've worked every day for the last 20 days. Its not like I've been able to ride the horse anyway. And Zippy has been sick and coughing and Thunder has been under the weather too. So..it isn't like I would be ready anyway. But still..if he expects me to give up the cons that I already have put money towards..I will be one unhappy employee.
