pretty good day
Mar. 29th, 2010 12:16 amAfter working two double shifts this weekend I had a fairly calm day today.
I was a waitress (which doesn't happen often) and made $54 in 3 hours which isn't too bad considering it would be more then I would have made as a host in that time.
Then I came home and worked on some obnoxiously pink costumes and got a good start on them. Then at 6 I headed to the work meeting we had for job #2. Where they told us that the company did better then expected last year and gave us $50 gift cards. Then I won a doorprize (2nd one in a week, how cool is that?) and got a pretty little blue and green heart necklace.
Now I'm just being lazy. I worked a little more on the costumes but my motivation level kind of died when I got home. This weeks work schedule is a little more manageable then this week's was so hopefully I won't be exhausted by the end of this week like I was by the end of yesterday.
My stitches still hurt occasionally. Basically after work they are pretty sore. If I do too much lifting or moving of my right arm I think it bothers them. Plus the glue is starting to wear off and get wrinkly and it itches like mad but the doctor said not to pick at it.
I have off for the Sakura Matsuri. I requested and I received, so whoot. I guess I'm wearing Sakura..on the metro..heh. So that is at least one day. I'll have to figure out one or two other costumes in case I decide to go up Friday and Sunday for a little while. Maybe normal clothes things..like Magnet Tsubasa or Hitman Reborn. I thought about taking the Flame kimono but I really REALLY don't want that to get dirty before Nashicon. It's bad enough I'll probably have to repaint the butt cape before Animazement to get it to look less dirty.
Ah well, I guess that is all from me.
