Anyone need a house?
Jun. 2nd, 2009 10:28 pmSo my father doesn't think my grandfather will be returning to his home. I guess he thinks that he will either have to stay in the hospitol or will have to live in a nursing home because he won't be able to live alone. I don't know...when i see him in the hospitol it certianly doesn't look good.
But that in turn leaves us with a big problem. His house. My father already has 3 houses and a trailer park that he has to pay mortgages on and he can't seem to sell. So to have another one would be far too much money going out with nothing coming in. So he presented me with an option.
Rent the house/Buy the house with a few friends. Yeah right, right? Well I figured I would put this out there to see whether there actually was interested parties. (remember that anime house we talked about? XD)
Anyway, it has three bedrooms, 2 family rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a basement. So realistically three people can fit. Even maybe up to 5 people I guess since the one bedroom would be big enough for two beds, or if two people were close enough to sleep in one. You get the idea. basically it would be $300 a month for 3 people for the mortgage/utilities/taxes/etc.
I know I am the last person that should be thinking about moving out when i don't even have a job yet..but who knows what can happen. I figured it wouldn't hurt to put it here and see what people were thinking. The house is in Jonesville which means for job purposes you have a half hour trip to Mt. Airy, 45 minute trip to Winston-Salem, 30 minute trip to Wilksboro, etc etc. Or of course the local area.
Anyway, in other news the weather has gone from rain everyday to obnoxiously hot. I dislike it greatly. I've been riding but I have to wait until about 7PM to do so for it to cool down enough that he doesn't sweat from just wearing the saddle.
