Gah I say!
Mar. 6th, 2008 12:07 amI have literally torn my room apart looking for one tiny item. I suppose you could say I have been spring cleaning because I have thrown away a lot of useless papers, random things that I didn't need anymore, old candy...really really old candy...and managed to rid my room of a large bag of trash.
But in the process have also made an extreme mess of my floor which is now covered in papers I need to oranize, costume pieces to put away, and sewing items that need a home.
Now to mention...the little item I desire..is still no where to be found. And what is this item you ask? My passport. A simple yet important item. An item that alone holds the future of my trip to Japan in its nonexistant hands.
I am now 99% sure it isn't in my room. It is not in the filing cabinet. It is not in the locked box my father keeps. It is not in the safety deposit box at the bank (Though I am going there tomorrow or so to double check that).
so where is it..I may never know. But at least I have purged myeslf of many unnecessarily papers and reorganized all of my cabinets in my room. do they look cleaner? No..but at least I tried.
As far as my resolutions are going. Work is still coming up blank. A few resumes are sent, no word has been heard. Mostly it is just a dead end. No 9-5 jobs in a 30 mile radius of this place. But I shall keep looking! Though if I somehow miraculously find my passport and buy my tickets and committ to a trip to Japan, I may postpone my job search until after and push my deadline to June 1st instead of May.
And as far as the riding. I rode only once last week because of weather. I have ridden twice this week (missed yesterday because it rained) with the potential to ride again tomorrow. I so proud of myself.
