Jun. 2nd, 2007 12:02 amHere are some highlights from Animazement since I may never get a full blown report done XD
-Cosplay Chess! This was so much fun. I got to cosplay Itachi again, and I was a member of the evil side (of course). It was an epic battle of Good Vs. Evil. And Evil won! And I lived XD Which is quite impressive when you figure I was only a pawn. Actually though...I didn't even move one step. My main job was to stand in front of the king and look evil XD It was a lot of fun and quite amusing when the "battles" took place between the one being killed and the one doing the killing. Gai-sensei really wanted to kill me but he never got the chance...he got taken out towards the end of the game XD
-Nuriko's Seiyuu! Hilarious. She said that in getting ready to play Nuriko she studied many gay men XD She said she was sorry to disappoint people because she is not actually a young hot guy that voices these characters, but just an old lady XD She was great. I got a picture with her.
-The Masquerade! Not just cause we won something XD It was actually one of the most pleasureable masquerades I think I've ever been in. Everyone was very nice and the staff was very helpful (Well...the ones that knew what was going on XD). We got to watch the entire thing and it moved very smoothly and quickly. We didn't have to rehearse on the stage, we only had to go to a quick meeting at the beginning of the day. It was very smoothly done...although I coul dhave done without the singing of 100 bottles of sake on the wall while in the waiting room XD
-The people. Everyone was crazy nice. There were the few random scary fangirls...but for the most part people were very friendly and wanted to meet everyone else. I guess thats the benefit of a smaller con..although with over 4000 people at it this year, it has grown tremendously!
-The debut...of my new outfit XD It got recognized by a few people! I was shocked! XD
