Oct. 17th, 2006 11:18 pmwhat a day o_o weather is insane. Winston got an earthquake. I wasn't there yet but how interesting. We kept having these huge booms at work that would shake the whole building. No idea what they were. It was raining like mad all day and the power went out across the street and next door, but ours never flickered. Even the traffic lights were out.
I didn't know about the earthquake until later in the day but I wondered what had happened because one of the sprinklers fell out of the ceiling and we found it on the floor and there was ceiling dust in the overstock bins on the top shelves and spools of thread had fallen off the rack and were everywhere.
It was wild. The apocolypse might be happening outside but Johan Fabrics continues to go on without a problem XD That name seems oddly fitting in this situation..
I should not be allowed to go to malls. i only spend money and that is bad. I bought a coat thing that I've been wanting since last year at Hot Topic. But I used my frequent shopper 15% off card so I saved money. I also went to Waldenbooks and got some reading material for the plane...2 mangas and 2 manga/novels. ^^;; I got the prequel to GodChild and I got the 4th book of La Esperanca and then two yaoi novels. But one was free! There was a sale <_< Then i went to walmart..but that was mostly for stuff for the trip..until I saw the Sasuke toys...and had to have it. But that was only $10! and has 360 degree fighting action XD OMG I love toys. Yuki! Got your postcard today! XD I will visit!! Just need to figure out when and how...oooohhh Deeee...you know you want to do the Hawaii/Japan thing XD Thats it...I fly out tomorrow! Time to pack the main costume pieces and haul everything upstairs and then I'm done.
