Jul. 27th, 2006 10:25 pmCosplaylab Advent Children costume look a like contest is up ^_^ I'm a little irritated though because a bunch of people entered the game version of the outfits...did the title: Final Fantasy VII: ADVENT CHILDREN not clue them in that this was for the movie? I'm surprised that Cloud has the fewest entries. This section is Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, and Reno. They are going to have another contest with four more characters.
Something that did please me was the fact that although i didn't have the best weapons of the Clouds..I was the only entry that shows my swords actually IN the holster, showing that it is an actual working holster. I used this as my picture: ( Cloud collage )

Lance from N'sync is gay...yeah I could have told you that years ago XD Is it odd that he was..and still is my favorite one?
Say Fuuma today. He surprised me at work ^_^ Had dinner and talked lots.
Yesterday at work an interesting thing happened. This little boy walked up to mardi and was asking for help. I was putting away fabric but could hear what he was asking her advice on. He needed a bandana..that he was going to put this metal piece with holes on and it had to be blue. Needless to say, my curiosity was grabbed. So I moved closer and was fiddling with the bolts of fabric on her other side. Then Mardi asked, "So what are you going to be?" Both of us had a good idea of what he was planning but Mardi was trying to actually get him to say it. His father was laughing a little and the boy looked up at him not quite certain that he wanted to say. Eventually he said, "Its this show. And its called Naruto."
I immediatly jump in and pull out my keychains and show Mardi that he is making the forehead protector. The little boy gets all excited, "Sasuke! Kakashi!" Then I showed him my pictures of our team 7 and he got excited again. So needless to say, I helped him with his forehead protector. He is all set up with fabric, glue, and the little pieces for the corner of the headband ^_^ Makes my day to work with cosplayers...even small ones.
