Made it safe once again
Dec. 16th, 2003 12:45 amWell I made it back home and the trip was uneventful. I'm safe and sound...and even though I have only been back for a matter of 6 hours, several of my pros and cons have already hit. Welcome Home.
Lets see...
Pros
-sleep (something I will not be getting much of tomarrow, since the blacksmith is coming to trim the horses feet at 7 AM and then I have to hold my aunts horses while he does their feet at 9AM. UG mornings)
-staying up as late as I want (I'm doing that now aren't I? Only problem is I have to go to sleep relatively early if I want to be conscious enough to hold horses in the morning)
-seeing family and animals (Yes, Dudley was very excited to see me)
Cons
-constant questions as to what I'm going to do in the future (How many times do I have to hear about how my cousin, who is one month younger then me, just got engaged and already owns a home. Lets see...I only got told three times today since I got home.)
-hearing about my grandfathers love life (New information on his love life now available. He's marrying the woman he met through the newspaper ads and has known for maybe a month. Oh goody...I don't even know her name and I've met her once.)
-snow...(boy is there a lot of the little flakes of evil on the ground here...)
I already want to go back to school. Oi. I have to drive an hour to the city in order to go christmas shopping tomarrow. Hopefully the roads will be good because I'm really sick of driving at this point in time and don't want to have to deal with bad road conditions.
I'm going to bed now...since I have to get up in about 6 hours.
