So apparently I can wear two contacts in one eye and it wont hurt! Whoo! I won't be blind as Cain! XD Clarification: Bought plain red contacts that have no prescription...put them in over normal contacts...able to see with no pain! Hurray!

Cain is pain. But nearly completed. I have 1 1/2 wings left to complete. I still have to do the boot armor, paint gloves and stoll, and finish styling wig. But I should be done in time for Otakon.

There are about a hundred things that I want to rip apart and remake...but there isn't enough time for that. I'll have to slowly work on that between cons.

My mother is harassing me about money again. Its very irritating. I am aware of my financial situation and currently I am safe. I mean I have 2 jobs right now..what more does she expect of me?? I can only work what they give me.

I guess it doesn't help that she knows how much Cain is costing me to create...$200 in feathers alone. But I work 3 days at CB this week so hopefully that will help at least a little.

I always think I have something worthwhile to say when I start these entries...and then I never do U_U

EDIT: Registered for AWA...but didn't get an artist table >_< They sold out in 10 days apparently. So crap...so much for making money at that con. Its okay though..with a costume list that includes Cain AND Fai..I suppose not having to worry about a table is a good thing ^^;;

EDIT 2: Will be letting Fai compete one more time. Decided that since I won't be doing the artist alley at AWA then I will do the Costume Contest. So Fai has one more chance. They have some funny categories too...like Best anime, manga, video game, accuracy, etc etc. Very interesting...

Hahah, yeah, I just recently learned that trick with contacts. Hence buying Yuuko and Gaara contacts earlier this week. ^__^ SO much cheaper than shelling out for prescription contacts!

I know! I wish I had known this earlier. $40 is much better then $200. Phew...now I won't feel so bad about buying colored contacts XD

make sure your bring some eyedrops with you when you do that, because after a while the two contacts will stick together and then they'll get kinda stiff. So you have to have moist eyes!

Also, make sure the colored are on the top, since the curve of them is greater.

Also, it's probably TOTALLY because of cain. your mom sees you "wasting" money when you're preetty hard up... It's a judgement call. Feel better! Good luck!

I know what you mean by pain >>;;; The Fai staff is nearly complete, but it's getting on my nerves with all those details.

I'd warn you with the contest: IT WILL TAKE UP YOUR WHOLE DAY! I entered it last year and it completely ate up my Saturday. Even though I'll hopefully have the Fai coat you're making me (I wanted to enter the contest with it, with your permission), I'm going with my better judgement and not entering it since it was horrible and unorganized last year.

Actually its funny, A few days ago I was thinking that perhaps we could co-enter at Animazement next year XD...obviously not my Fai..rather I would enter you and just go along to explain how it was made ^^ But it would depend on whether I wanted to enter something myself next year or not.

I think though because this is going to be my Fai's last competition, I'd like to do it alone for sentimental reasons. I figured it would take all day when i saw they have a max entry # of 120.

Besides, we are assuming I can finish that monster of a coat by September XD Sheesh, rush me a little more why don't you? XD
