tohma2004I think the reason it takes me so long to upload pictures..is because I put titles and descriptions on almost every single one. Ah well...Someday I may learn to just be quick about things.
My Athrun wig came today! Wee! It feels like I've been waiting forever U_U I know, you're all like..what? Athrun?? What about Dearka??? Okay, so you aren't XD But I decided that I wanted to have two options for my Zaft uniform and so I chose Athrun as the other option since I don't like Shinn or Rey, don't want to be a female pilot, and already know the most awesome Yzak in the world. So Athrun it is! ^_^ I'll still cosplay Dearka, but this just gives me another option. Now to style it...
Tohma-con was great ^_^ I was happy just seeing everyone and hanging out. Seems odd to do a "con" report when I haven't even done one for Katsucon XD
Tohma-con Day 1
Hour 1: Lunch at McDonalds. Meet everyone there after I sit for over an hour in the oil change place waiting for my car to get serviced. There was a huge camper holding up the works and then after they had finished with it, it ran out of gas in front of the door my car was in X_x At least lunch and seeing everyone was good.
Hour 2: Nature Walk! Actually this was more like hour 2 and 3 and 4 or something like that. We wandered around the woods behind my house and then took the dogs for a walk to the river. Dudley swam for a looong time. he kept jumping in and getting out, jumping and getting out. It was actually his decision to leave in the end. He actually got tired. But on the way back a pitbull was on the other side of the river and Dudley felt the need to protect us so he went running across to the other side with Ginji in pursuit...until about halfway across the river when Ginji realized it was too deap for him to run in and he had to swim back. After Dudley was satisfied that he had protected us, he returned to a very unhappy Ginji, who had wanted to protect Dudley but had been unable to make it across the river. We hurried our way out of the woods only to make it halfway down the first field and have Dudley run off back towards the river since the pitbull had returned. So once again, much calling and clapping was had as we tried to get the two dogs back. The rest of the walk was relatively uneventful.
Hour...5? Naptime #1 Well not really, but it started out that way ^^; Until we decided to go to the store and get the groceries for the picnic. (most of which I forgot when we actually went on the picnic *stamps failure across forehead*)
Hour...whatever Reno and I decided it was time to go out and take some pictures. So we put on our costumes and headed back out into the woods with Kathy as our official photographer...and two dogs as very unhelpful partners. Much shooing of the dogs occurred, some rather amusing farmer Reno pictures, and some random Yaoi suggested by our dear photographer ~_^.
Dinner happened shortly after that and then some watching of American Idol provided very amusing quotes that would last for the rest of the 'con'. Kelly Pickler is indeed...very very southern and even blonder. She was distracted by a sign with a pickle that had her head in it. (And in case you were wondering: Chicken little was voted off)
After Idol came Drawn Together. Ah Xandir...poor dear Xandir..

And then we slept ^_^
Tohma-con Day 2
Hour 1: Breakfast! A very sudden awakening to the smell of bacon, eggs, and pancakes. We only have breakfast when there are guests...
Hour 2: Getting ready for the picnic! Everyone put on their Naruto costumes and packed the 4-wheeler for the picnic at the river
Hour 3, 4 5..6..: Photo time! Made our way to the river on the 4-wheeler (trading riders at various points) and started taking pictures. It was soooo cold. Thank god for the movie capes. Naruto and I were much better off because of them. Took lots of pictures and then settled in for lunch under a blanket. Took a few more pictures since Gaara changed into Sanzo and then we removed our ninja shoes (since Ninja shoes aren't made for walking) and packed everything up to head home.
Hour..late. Made it back home and unpacked the 4-wheeler. Went inside and were lazy for a little while until i decide to turn on House and watch the episode I had missed. I think it was the first time everyone else had watched house. I love House *_*
After House (and we were all thawed out) everyone decided it was time to pack up and head home. We said goodbye and they drove off into the sunset...well not really it was like 4 o'clock.
So it was a good few days off ^_^ Everyone needs to come down here and visit again *nod nod*
All that is left..are pictures..that may never be completely uploaded..cause there are like 200 of them X_X
