Life..is too full of ups and downs. I've decided I don't like it.

Today I found out some rather distressing news. My manager is getting fired in 30 days and his replacement is currently being trained at the Greensboro store. To make matters worse the replacement is the husband of the woman who i replaced and who i absolutly dispise.

If this actually happens and Jim actually gets fired...I don't think I can stay there. I just can't see myself working under this other guy. So i've decided to make a rather bold step for myself. I have applied for the job of the store manager. If Jim is being taken out of it, then I'm not going to let just anyone take his place.

I don't like this. I know if Jim is fired then most of the people that work there will also leave. I can't stand the thought of working there without these people. And so if I don't get the job and Jim gets sent away...I will probably try to find another job. And that is something I was hoping I wouldn't have to do for many many years.

I dont know what to do. Actually I do. I'm going to do my damnedest to make sure Jim doesn't get fired and if he does, I'm going to fight for that position. Cause I like it there and I don't want to leave.

I think you would make a good manager. ^_^ You really care about that store, too. Just make sure that whoever is hiring a new manager knows that.
