I had been debating on going to Nekocon, but I decided against it. Otherwise I would so totally room with you again.
Btw, I still say you are crazy for handsewing all of your cosplays. I have rubbed the skin off of my right thumb, and took off skin on my right index knuckle. Although...the second injury is from hauling various sewing machines up and down.
Regardless! The thumb injury is definately from handstitching. I still don't get it. XP
