Chemo #4

Had my fourth chemo treatment today. Didn't go as smoothly as the others have gone. I felt a little sick afterwards but I can almost blame the fact that I already had a runny nose and a slight cough. But the runny nose isn't as bad as it has been. In fact I think after the chemo it really didn't bother me. It was more of a nauseous feeling.

More bills are rolling in, and more letters from Medicaid and Disability saying they need this and that to continue processing my request. *sigh* This is a never ending nightmare of paperwork.

I go for my shot tomorrow. Bone pain a possibility as always and probably will occur since I'm not feeling my best. Need to go to Walmart and get my uric acid bill replenished. The doctor said today I shouldn't have to take them much longer but he wants to wait until he sees my next MRI before making the decision. MRI will probably be done in the next months and I get my lungs tested again in 2 weeks.

Appointment after appointment..but that is what breaks up the monotony of my day.

What a day

As if yesterday I wasn't feeling bad enough, today had to go and be oh so exciting.

Got my shot which was, as always, a tramatic experience. Though I did not get any bone pain this week which is a plus. Runny nose is gone but the cough has become more irritating. Stomach hurt a little but could have been much worse.

Tried to ride today, but I wasn't on the horse for even 10 minutes when it started to pour down rain. So I was soaked, he was soaked, and we accomplished nothing except perhaps take me a step closer to catching pneumonia. Which when I walked into the house my father scolded me for being out in the rain. Eh..it wasn't raining when I started >_<

Then after it had gotten dark we looked out the window and Phoenix was rolling around on the ground, running around and acting rather irritated about something. I go outside by the fence and watch her for a few minutes and she starts biting and kicking at her stomach. I run inside to grab my shoes while my mom goes to get her and then I run to the barn and get her halter so we can get her out of the pasture. It was looking like a nasty case of colic and so my mom walked her around the driveway for a few minutes before we took her in the barn to look over her body to make sure she didn't have any bite marks or anything. She didn't but she was hot and sweaty. So we took her into the riding ring and walked her around some more until she started to cool down. When she seemed to be less irritated and actually started to eat and pass gas we figured we were in the clear. And as soon as we put her back out into the pasture she pooped and seemed much calmer. So she seems okay now and I'm just thankful she is white and can be seen clearly in the dark and that they were up by the house when she got sick.

Who knows what caused her to get sick. There was a band playing behind the house, some shooting at the neighbors, nasty thunder all evening..could be any combination of things that got her worked up. We'll never know.

So yeah..fun day
