I want to change my eyes
I'm going to get myself in trouble financially again..I can see it in the near future. Why you ask? Well besides the normal bills...the $200 in hay i need to buy...the $100 vet bill for Ginji's yearly shots...and the other riduculously high bills that are starting to show up...I want more colored contacts.
I blame Ouran. Seriously I do. Because the contacts I want are purple ones for Tamaki. But the most awesome purple contacts that I found would cost me $175 for one pair. that would make them as expensive as my Sharingans. But oh my god I want them...so then I started thinking, do I have any other purple eyed characters?
-Dearka from Gundam Seed/Destiny...heh..imagine that. I could actually pull out the ol' Dearka outfit
-Kira Yamato from Gundam Seed/Destiny
-Ritsuka from Loveless...does he have purple eyes? He does in the poster thing in Pam's room.
-Dominic from Eureka 7? It looks purple in the magazine in the art picture but looks kind of greyish/purple in other images. Anyone know or sure?
Am I crazy? That is quite a few characters actually. Anyone know where I can buy cheaper prescription contacts? Keep in mind I have a -9 and a -8.5 prescription...that isn't available everywhere because it is so high.
*sigh* Days off are bad for my wallet.
Rayvah has decided she wants to organize a photoshoot at Pilot Mountain. It got me to thinking...its almost been a year since Tohmacon! It also made me realize that 2 of the 4 people in last years Tohmacon are in Japan right now. That made me sad.
Anyone up for Tohma-con 2007? What is Tohma-con? Details to follow...after Heroes is over XD

Around the date of March 20th, Kathy, Yuki, and Susan came to my house with the intention of taking pictures and just hanging out. Turned into a fun yet cold adventure XD
The basic thought of Tohma-con, is getting together and making our own mini-convention at my house. We pick a couple days, whether it is on a weekend or during the week and all gather. Then we created our own convention. There was cosplay photoshoots (in the woods and down by the river...sounds like a song). Oh yeah, and the classic, Farmer Reno pictures XD
Okay so not making much sence right? Basically it was a good chance to just get together and hang out since most of us only see each other at conventions. It was like a 2 day vacation where we didn't really have to go anywhere, didn't actually spend $$ in a dealer's room, etc. Basically it was us getting together and going out in cosplay.
This year, I was thinking we may throw video games and/or anime into the mix XD I mean...why not? We cosplay during the day, watch anime during the night. A true convention in the comforts of home.
Since Rayvah was thinking of doing a pilot mountain gathering, perhaps we could make the days coorespond. Its an idea. Pilot Mountain is only 45 minutes from my house. We could go there, get pictures and then come back and relax at my house.
but I guess it really depends on the interest. Who would want to do this? Sanzo, up for another year? Deathgod02, interested in heading south for a few days? Obviously I can't accommodate a ton of people, but I can certainly fit a few. Let me know ^_^
ANd with the influx of photoshoots I have decided to seperate my costumes into two categories to better determine what I should wear at what photoshoot...those categories are City costume and Country costumes. So this is basically for my own reference.
The Country Costumes (characters whose settings are best in wooded areas/fields/etc.)

-Christopher Armalite from Scrapped Princess

I only figured it would be 2 days, just like last year. Maybe 3 depending on how much I can be away from work.
Looks like the 7th and 8th might work. I'll see whether that is good for work as well and then I might make it the official Tohmacon 2007 date XD

You probably have your tickets already huh? Cause you could have maybe flown up here and then flown to Japan from the Greensboro or Charlotte airports. Then we could have visited for at least a few days U_U I'm not sure I could take a road trip on such short notice. Work might kill me, plus my boss is going to be out of the store for an entire week..I guess next week. So we'd be short handed.
Yeah, my eyes suck XD cosplaylab.com has all kinds of colored lenses. most of their theatrical lenses go up to -10. That is how I got my Sharingans in perscription. The ones I've been looking at are Yuki Sohma contacts in that section.
