I'm wearing new contacts today. They are these new one month..you can wear them when you sleep..lenses. Of course I"m never going to wear them when I sleep >_> But apparently you can leave them in 24 hours for the full 30 days and never feel any pain. Ha..I'm still taking them out every night.

Had to get an eye exam because I absolutly do not have any more contacts. I've been wearing the same 2-week pair...for 2 months. I delayed it as long as I could. I was planning on ordering them online but you still need a current perscription and of course..mine ran out last month. Sooo..I went to Walmart and forked over $100 to get my eye exam.

But I did get this free pair of one month contacts...so we'll see how they work.

The difference? They stepped up my power. My eyes have apparently gotten a little worse and now I am at a -9 and -9.5 (-10, -10.5 for glasses). Oh goody...So I'm seeing if these new stronger contacts are also better in that aspect. They seem to be working out okay.

In other news..I am completely done! I am ready for Otakon! Just need to pack. Everything cosplay wise and JC wise is done. Wee!

There was a turtle in the riding arena today O_O we went out to lunge/ride Phoenix and there it was...middle of the ring. I have never seen a turtle at our house before XD But there he was, just hanging out. Well until the horse and humans and dogs showed up. Then he decided to head out XD

But I did actually ride Phoenix today. The first time in quite awhile...but she has been at the trainers and she just came home on Saturday and with the new ring I felt much more confident. I even trotted her for the first time today. I think together we will be fine...the trainer said she wasn't going to be good for reining and that she should have made more progress then she has.

Well I see her potential and to hell with him because together we will suceed. Lady and I did well together and everyone thought she wouldn't amount to anything. Not amount to anything eh? Oh..how about Dressage Champion at the county fair, at the state fair, and rate dressage shows EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE ENTERED. Hunter chamption at every open show we went to. Countless championships and high points to her name. Not amount to anything? Yeah..who had the last laugh?

So Phoenix won't amount to anything? Hmph..we'll see about that. Lady was 5 when I started her. Phoenix is only 3. We'll show them...just you wait...
